Participant: Walter Englert

Classes I have taught recently are:
A. Hum 110 (with Hum 110 Tech)
B. Greek (all levels): major resource I use is the Perseus project website.
C. Latin (all levels): no websites used.
D. Classics 363: Greek Tragedy in English Translation. (I use the following 4
websites)

  1. Reed College's Humanities 110 Tech Greek Theater website. Contains much
information useful to a study of Greek drama.
  2. Skenotheke:Images of the Ancient Stage. Excellent site for all aspects of
    ancient theater.
  3. Didaskalia: Ancient Greek Theater Today. Great resource for aspects of the
ancient theater, and the production of ancient theater today. Contains some
excellent recreations of what the theater of Dionysus in Athens may have looked like.
  4. Diotima: Materials for the Study of Women and Gender in the Ancient World.
Great source for many aspects of women in the ancient world.

E. Classical Mythology: I have used electronic materials in it, but would like
to come up with more. I have enclosed a syllabus from the last time I gave the
myth class. At the end, there is a list of electronic resources I made some use
of.
