  • Feminist Anthropology Online
    Angela Bratton’s overview of feminist anthropology, with sections on history and theory, a list of related organizations, and a bibliography.


  • The Feminist Theory Website
    Dr. Kristin Switala’s collection of research materials and information on feminist theory, including information on various fields within feminism, different national/ethnic feminisms, and biographic information about individual feminists.

Multimedia Resources

  • Makley Image Archive. Online exhibits on sexism and racism in print ads.
    This is my site for online media education and activism. Many links to media activist organizations, ideas for activism, etc.

  • Gender Talk. Gender Talk's content, both online and through the airwaves, touches on a broad range of topics related to gender and sexuality. The weekly Gender Talk radio show is the centerpiece of the site and both live and archived shows are available in RealPlayer and MP3 formats online. Additionally, the Gender Talk site offers lists of links, books, and other resources.

  • Frontline. Companion website for the film "The Merchants of Cool". Has links on the media, charts the holdings of huge media corporations, teen issues, etc.
