Activism/Community Work

  • It’s Time, Oregon!:
    The local branch of the national It’s Time, America! campaign, ITO has worked since the late 1990s on transgender education, rights, and advocacy in Oregon. Their website offers educational resources, information on state transgender issues, and volunteer opportunities.

  • Human Rights Campaign – Portland Steering Committee:
    Since 1980, the HRC has worked nationally for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender political rights. The Portland Steering Committee page offers information on local issues, volunteer opportunities, and activities.
