JUDY PFAFF Judy Pfaff was born in London, England in 1946. She received a BFA from Her awards include two grants from the NEA and a Guggenheim fellowship. A pioneer in the field of installation work, Pfaff has produced more than forty temporary and permanent installations since 1975, in such sites as the Whitney, Hirshhorn, St. Louis, Denver, Albright-Knox art museums, and the 60th Venice Biennale and the 24th Sao Paulo Bienal. Her largest installation, “cirque, CIRQUE,” is in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia. Her work is in the collections of the MOMA, the Albright-Knox, the Detroit Institute, the High MOA, the Zammlung Ludwig, the Whitney, etc. |
