The studio art building was renovated over the summer of 2001. The number of student and faculty studios was increased and a gallery and slide/lecture room were added. The size of the studios for painting, drawing, and printmaking were also increased, and drawing moved into its own room, rather than being on one side of a large divided room with painting.
