Emeritus Biology Professor Helen Stafford was named a Phytochemistry Pioneer at the 2008 meeting of the Phytochemical Society of North America. Biology asst. professor Suzy Renn has been awarded $42,000 from the MJ Murdock Charitable Trust for her investigation of rapidly evolving genes in the East African Cichlid species flock.[May 2008]
