Mark Haim

Visiting Assistant Professor Mark Haim holds a B.A. from Julliard and an MFA from Hollins University. Mark has taught internationally holding teaching positions at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Hollins University, Dance New Amsterdam, the Trisha Brown School, Movement Research, Perry Dance II, Rotterdamse Somerakademie (the Netherlands), the Scola de Compahnia de Danca de Lisboa (Portugal), the University of Washington and the American Dance Festival among others. His choreographic work has been performed by numerous companies, including the Joffrey Ballet II, the Limon Dance Company, Ballet Frankfurt, Nederlands Dance Theater and the Bat-Dor Dance Company.  He is known for his outstanding solo performances and for his duet performances. Among awards and honors he has received are those from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, The National College Choreography Initiative and the Fulbright program. Mark teaches intermediate and advanced level technique and choreography.
