Takashi Yamashita's Web Page
Welcome to my page. I'm a Visiting Associate Professor of Economics at Reed College in Portland, OR. My research focuses on household wealth and portfolio choice and how households cope with aggregate shocks. I take the life-cycle theory seriously, and as a result, I'm also interested in issues surrounding individual's life-cycle (education, residential choice, health, retirement, etc.).

Look what happened to the M1 Multiplier! It's now less than 1. Who said banks are lending and there is a glimmer of hope? Politicians have to say that, but if you look at data, the picture is grim.
