How do I save or transfer the image(s) to a computer with Microsoft Word?
Digital images are typically too large to attach to an email. You can save images for use on a different computer by copying them to your home server or to a portable device such as a USB flash drive.
To save to your home server:
- Double click on the Home Server shortcut icon on the Desktop
- Enter your Reed/email username and password
- Save the files to your home server using copy & paste, drag & drop, or save as

To save to a portable flash drive:
- Insert your flash drive into the USB port on the Mac tower
- When you open the Finder, the device will display as "F"
- Save the files to your flash drive using copy & paste, drag & drop, or save as
