Prospectus What is equality? The focus in this class will be analyzing and understanding a concept, in this case, equality. It will also emphasize paying close attention to the details of the text and reconstructing its arguments. Requirements Conference participation in good faith. One hour in class exam on the last day of class. Books and Reserves All the material for this class is on reserve. Most items (except for Aristotle) are in xerox form. Aristotle's Politics can be found in the library stacks as well as on reserve. Readings Please note: readings are divided into 4 groups of 3 (we meet 3 times a week for 4 weeks).
