Tim Hackenberg: Following 19 years on the faculty at the University of Florida, Tim landed at Reed in 2009. He is interested in why people and other animals do what they do. When not in the lab, you might find Tim at a local music club, chasing his chickens around the backyard, or making a mashup. |

Lavinia Tan: Lavinia received her Ph.D. from the University of Canterbury in 2009 and has been at Reed as a Postdoctoral Scientist since 2010. She is interested broadly in animal cognition, with particular interests in counting and numerosity. When not in the lab, you might find Lavinia walking her dog, reading, or dancing. |

Ruby Larisch: Ruby is interested in lab models of foraging, and is currently working on a project comparing pigeons' choices studied individually in operant chambers to their choices in a social context—a free-flying aviary with continuous food-earning opportunities. When not in the lab, you might find Ruby working on both sides of the camera lens, eating a stellar burrito, or talking to strange pigeons on the street. |

Elizabeth Dinkova: Elizabeth is interested in learning and creativity. When not in the lab, you might find Elizabeth writing and directing plays, cooking potato dishes, or painting self-portraits. |

Amelia Munson: Amelia is interested in animal cognition in an ecologically relevant setting. She is currently spending her free time clicker training her pet rabbit, Gulliver, to do the ecologically relevant activity of jumping through a hoop. When not playing with animals, Amelia might be reading Moby Dick, baking pie, or dreaming of Thai peanut sauce. |

Frank Sosa: Frank is interested in the relationship between experimental and applied psychology. He’s excited about how these might interact to improve social problems. When not in the lab, you might find Frank running, swimming, or practicing Spanish. |

Shruti Korada: Shruti is interested in the intersection between psychology and economics, and how the two disciplines might talk to each other effectively. When not in the lab, you might find Shruti cooking, trying her hand at art, or finding musical gems in corners of the internet. |

Patrick Sadil: A bio major, Patrick has managed to sneak into Reed's psychology department. He is interested in exploring the numerous factors contributing to how organisms perceive their environment. Outside of lab, Patrick hopes to be playing capoeira, adventuring through a forest, or relaxing with a gourd of maté. |
