The Levine Quantitative Skills Center was launched Fall Semester 2002 thanks to the generosity of Michael E. ('62) and Carol Levine and the Levine Family Fund.

Mission

The primary mission of the Q is to support the academic program. Through our afternoon tutoring program, resource library, and workshop series, we promote skills development for all students, especially those taking courses in the quantitative natural and social sciences. A Reed education is exceedingly rigorous and often difficult. We hope that the availability of the Q as a resource will embolden students to consider taking a broader range of quantitative courses than they otherwise would, knowing that resources are available to them for refreshing and extending their quantitative skills.
