1885 Charnay

All the images of Kabah and Uxmal (there are no images of Sayil or Labná) in Claude Joseph Désiré Charnay, Les anciennes villes du nouveau monde: Voyages d’explorations du Méxique et dans l’Amérique Centrale par Désiré Charnay 1857-1882. These engravings are very closely based on Charnay's 1882 photographs. Paris: Hachette, 1885. I have scanned these images from a copy in the Central Washington University Library, with appreciation. On this web site, the quoted captions are literal translations of the French captions.
